We’re reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.

Β

Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year. But we’re just getting started.

Β

Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The Role...

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer who can independently own analytical engineering workstreams, deliver high-quality data products, and contribute to reusable standards across the data ecosystem. This person will combine strong technical craft with business understanding. They will work hands-on data integration, transformation, building data warehouse and data products using dbt, Airflow, BigQuery, and BI tools while delivering business value to Dojo and our Customers.

About the team…

Our team is responsible for building data solutions to incentivise and compensate our Partnerships and Sales channels. These solutions pay out tens of millions of pounds monthly, and have a material impact on dojo’s commercial performance.

What you will do...

  • Own your analytics engineering work stream end to end, transforming stakeholder needs into robust, scoped data products.
  • Build performant, cost-conscious data pipelines in BigQuery using dbt, and design insightful data visualisation
  • Develop scalable, performant, and reliable pipeline orchestrations using Airflow, dbt, Airbyte, and Fivetran.
  • Use Python to automate workflows, validate data quality, and streamline analytical operations.
  • Contribute to shared standards, design reusable metrics, and actively pay down technical debt to keep our platform healthy.
  • Leverage AI tools responsibly to accelerate modelling, testing, and documentation without losing technical ownership.

What you will bring...

  • Driven by technical quality, motivated by business impact
  • A background in analytical engineering, data engineering, or a related data-focused role.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on expertise building models with dbt.
  • Experience with cloud data warehousing (preferably BigQuery) and BI platforms (ideally Looker).
  • Familiarity with orchestration systems like Airflow and ingestion tools like Airbyte or Fivetran.
  • Practical Python skills to support automation and testing workflows.
  • Sound judgment regarding data quality, maintainability, and the ability to independently guide technical decisions.
