It is a hugely exciting time for our organization to join our Expanse programme in the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.  Focused on advancing our technology and integrating web-based navigation, EHR will allow HCA Healthcare clinicians and colleagues to enhance patient safety, quality and care and to maintain our outstanding ratings and continue to be a global market leader in complex care.

The Data Analyst will work in the Special Projects team of the Delivery workstream. The role holder will gather and cleanse data required for individual projects, and produce wide reaching key information, analysis and modelling to support decision making.

What you'll do:

  • Analyse datasets to extract insights, trends, and patterns that inform Expanse decision making and strategies.

  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and availability across identified platforms. 

  • Support Special Projects Team with analytics, reporting and input to key decisions. 

  • Work with key stakeholders to explain, develop and advise on underlying trends, results and influences.

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage

  • Create and maintain database structures optimised for performance and scalability.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, architecture, and workflows.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience working as a Data or Systems Analyst.

  • Experience working in an analytic or IT role within a healthcare setting.

  • Experience with Python or other coding language.

  • Ability to work with large quantities of data, understand technical requirements and translate them to code.

  • Excellent knowledge of database and data structures as well as of general systems technology.
