Join cross-functional product engineering teams to play a key role in delivering high-quality data capabilities. This opportunity sits within the Personalised Experiences and Communications Platform, where we’re focused on building innovative, data-driven solutions that enhance customer experiences.Â
As a Data Engineering Lead, you’ll bring deep technical expertise and a passion for engineering excellence. You’ll lead by example, championing best practices and exploring the possibilities offered by modern cloud technologies.Â
We understand that no one is an expert in every aspect of data or software engineering. If you have a background in data engineering and experience with coding or scripting, we’d love to hear from you.Â
What you’ll be doing:Â
Lead end-to-end design, implementation and delivery of future architecture for highly scalable, resilient low latency systemsÂ
Collaborate with the head of engineering, product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define and execute the data engineering teams’ roadmap, scope, and deliverables.Â
Lead engineering best practicesÂ
Drive technical strategy and direction for engineering teamÂ
Deliver technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple entities across the group.Â
Drive the culture of delivering highly secured and high-quality pipelines.Â
Identify and eliminate recurring issues by automating processes.Â
Have cross-functional and cross-product impact in the organisationÂ
Initiate, design and drive high impact ideas using the right design principlesÂ
Mentor and coach, engineering teams, developing their skills and career growth.Â
