Your Opportunity

Join our Smart Services Engineering team for a 12-week summer internship and work on real-world data science projects that impact millions of users globally. You'll gain hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and model deployment, while collaborating with engineers and analysts across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  *   Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and insights

  *   Build and test predictive models using machine learning techniques

  *   Support the development of data pipelines and automation tools

  *   Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings

  *   Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into production systems

Who You Are

  *   A current undergraduate student (penultimate year preferred) studying Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

  *   Proficient in Python, R, or similar programming languages

  *   Familiar with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow)

  *   Comfortable working with SQL and cloud-based data platforms

  *   Analytical, curious, and eager to solve real-world problems

  *   Eligible to work in the UK and available full-time from May to August 2026

Preferred (but not essential) Skills

  *   Experience with time-series analysis or anomaly detection

  *   Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

  *   Exposure to MLOps or DevOps practices
