In this role as a Data Engineer (E2) you will work within the Data Engineering & Platforms team. The key focus of this team is to build data engineering processes and create value out of the data for our members and for our business colleagues.

What you’ll be doing
Based on the considerable experience and skillset you bring as a Data engineer; you will join the Data Engineering & Platform Team. You will be reporting to the Team Lead and will collaborate in an Agile team of engineers, business designers and the product owner. You will contribute to a team who strive to continually deliver the right business value and ensure that flow of data is optimised.
Within our products, we have small dynamic feature teams. It is here that you’ll make a real impact and difference in a team which is building our data engineering solutions, enabling quality and timely data to the rest of the society. These feature teams need to deliver business value at speed, whilst ensuring we produce the highest quality software and maintain the best levels of resilience and security.
This role will offer lots of exciting opportunities to continue developing in data engineering and cloud technologies. We would expect you to have the desire and drive to learn, bring new thinking, ideas, bring continuous improvement to the team. A key focus will be ensuring the success and growth of the Centre of Excellence by sharing knowledge through lessons learnt and keeping up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
