We're looking for a Senior Procurement Data & Insights Analyst to play a key role in shaping procurement strategy through advanced analytics, automation, and market intelligence. What You'll Be Doing
As a trusted expert within the procurement function, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering powerful analytics solutions that provide visibility, insight, and strategic direction across the business.
Design and build sophisticated data models, reporting solutions, and automated data pipelines.
Transform data from multiple sources including ERP systems, market intelligence providers, and external datasets into actionable business insights.
Develop impactful Power BI dashboards and visualisations used by Procurement, Finance, Business Leaders, and Executive stakeholders.
Create risk, forecasting, and market analytics models that support commercial decision-making and supply chain resilience.
Drive automation initiatives using Power Automate and AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and eliminate manual reporting.
Analyse market trends, supplier performance, commodity data, and procurement metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
Partner with Procurement, Finance, IT and senior business leaders to deliver insights that influence strategic decisions.
Support and mentor colleagues, helping to raise analytical capability across the wider team.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly analytical individual who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and engaging way.
Strong experience building data models and ETL processes across multiple data sources.
Advanced Power BI skills with expert knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
Excellent SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
Advanced Excel capabilities, including Power Pivot and analytical modelling.
Experience creating dashboards, reports and analytics that support business decision-making.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and present recommendations to senior leaders.
A passion for automation, innovation and leveraging AI technologies to improve processes and insight generation.
You'll Stand Out If You Have
Experience with Python, Databricks or modern data platforms.
Knowledge of SAP, SAP Analytics, SAP BW or SAP S/4HANA.
Exposure to procurement, supply chain or market intelligence analytics.
Experience monitoring commodity markets, pricing trends or supplier performance.
Professional qualifications in data analytics, procurement (CIPS), Lean Six Sigma or related disciplines.
