Job title: Data Analyst
Location: Croydon (hybrid working available)

Purpose of Role:
To provide statistical insights, interpretation, and analysis of HCML’s management information (Ml) and support delivery of HCML’s data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
To analyse, summarise and interpret complex data with excellent oral and written communication.
- Support the enhancements of HCML's data increasing its value for our clients and internal stakeholders.
- To show clear ownership and accountability for the delivery of all Ml across the business.
- To be instrumental in the production and analysis of HCML’s Ml, ensuring that the quality is met and that inaccuracies in the data are identified and actions taken where required.
- Ensure reports go out on agreed deadlines both internal and external.
- To support work with our clients on the ongoing development of their Business Ml. This should focus on ensuring that we provide our clients with the required level of quantitative and qualitative data and data analysis to meet their organisational needs.
Person Specification:
Experience
- Managing the full reporting lifecycle—from data modelling, transformations, and DAX calculations to building interactive Power BI dashboards.
- Ensuring high-quality data through robust validation processes and continuously improving reporting efficiency
- Working closely with business teams to translate requirements into actionable reports and ensuring seamless data integration.
Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrates excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and quality management.
- All core Microsoft software, e.g. word, excel, access database, outlook.
- Advanced Excel and Access database skills with ability to build and trouble shoot formulas.
- Previous experience in Business Intelligence reporting preferred Power Bl.
- SQL database understanding.
- DAX formulas.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meticulously, proactively solving problems and delivering results.
Qualifications and Training
- Maths grade B or above or high learning A-Level
- Degree level education or equivalent professional certification or extensive relevant experience
- Degree in Computer Science or Business Management beneficial
