Job Function:

Job Subfunction:

Job Description:

WHO WE AREĀ

We are RAPP – world leaders in activating growth with precision and empathy at scale.Ā

As a global, next-generation precision marketing agency weĀ leverageĀ data, creativity, technology, and empathy to foster client growth. WeĀ championĀ individuality in the marketing solutions we create, and in our workplace. We fight for solutions that adapt to the individual’s needs, beliefs, behaviours, and aspirations.Ā

We foster an inclusive workplace that values diversity and emphasises personal well-being.Ā

DATA ANALYTICSĀ

TheĀ Data AnalyticsĀ team at RAPP is a driving force behind the agency's success. Sitting within a wider Marketing Sciences team,Ā weĀ driveĀ valueĀ for our clientsĀ byĀ delivering work that helpsĀ themĀ to market and run their businesses more effectively and efficiently, empowering them to make data-driven decisions that directly impact performance and driveĀ measureableĀ results.Ā Ā Ā

THEĀ ROLEĀ

As an Analyst, you will workĀ onĀ a specific client or workstream.Ā InitiallyĀ under the supervision of a more senior member of the team, you will quicklyĀ start to take ownership of your own deliverables.Ā Some of theĀ projectsĀ and tasksĀ you may work onĀ include:Ā

  • Setting up a simple test and learn plan for a client’s marketing and CRM activitiesĀ

  • Using RAPP’s AI tools to provide clients with insights on what creative elementsĀ of a campaignĀ are working, and whyĀ

  • Creating aĀ customer profile for a specific audienceĀ subset and reporting back to a clientĀ

  • ProvidingĀ post campaign analysis reporting for clients that tell them what elements of a campaign worked and how they shouldĀ optimiseĀ the activity moving forwardĀ Ā

  • Supporting theĀ experienceĀ strategy team in the creation of a data-driven customer journeyĀ

  • Building a KPI tree or measurement framework that tells a client the key metrics they should track and try to moveĀ

Ā

ABOUT YOUĀ

  • You have aĀ working knowledge ofĀ SqLĀ and/or Python,Ā and can independently writeĀ code to pull dataĀ from a cloudĀ environment (AWS/Azure/GCP)Ā

  • You will have experienceĀ workingĀ agency, consulting or client sideĀ with customer- orĀ customer relatedĀ datasetsĀ -Ā thinkĀ marketing analytics, sales analysis, product analysis, consumerĀ profilingĀ etc). If youĀ don’tĀ have this experience, you have aĀ demonstrable interestĀ inĀ growingĀ your experience in this areaĀ and can show how whatĀ you’veĀ done before will help you do thisĀ

  • More importantĀ than your technical skills and yourĀ pastĀ experienceĀ is your attitude, and what makes you tick.Ā Ā

  • You are curious, ask a lotĀ ofĀ questions and are most interested in the ā€œwhyā€ of data – what it means, and what clients should do with it.Ā Ā

  • That curiosity extends to a desire toĀ understandingĀ a datasetĀ and not justĀ takingĀ itĀ at face value – you areĀ accurate, detail-oriented andĀ ifĀ a piece of dataĀ looks wrong,Ā you’llĀ want toĀ knowĀ why that might be.Ā

  • You will want to work independently even if that doesn’t happen on Day 1, and you will have an interest and desireĀ in presentingĀ your findings to the rest of your team and to clients, even if you don’t have much experience of doing that yet.Ā Ā

  • You’llĀ get a kick working across multiple teams (at a client level and an analytics level),Ā learning from others and sharing thingsĀ you’veĀ learned with youĀ

Ā

ABOUT YOU – NICE TO HAVESĀ

You will likely work across some of the following areas in your RAPP career and experience of any of the below is a plus; if you have experience of none of these thingsĀ but think you fit the main criteria, we’d still love to hear you.Ā Ā

  • WebĀ and socialĀ analyticsĀ Ā

  • Dashboarding/visualizationĀ Ā

  • Working withĀ cloudĀ environmentsĀ in an engineering capacityĀ

  • StatisticsĀ Ā

  • Marketing orchestration/adĀ tech tools/stacksĀ (Salesforce/Braze/Adobe/DSPsĀ etc)Ā

  • Basic customer segmentation and modelingĀ Ā

  • Test and learnĀ programmesĀ

  • Campaign analysisĀ

  • Customer journey/experience planningĀ
