About the role

We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Pharmacy Supply Team as a Data Analyst. As part of our Healthcare division, the Pharmacy Supply Team plays a vital role in helping our stores manage inventory effectivelyβ€”reducing overstocks and ensuring the right stock is available to meet customer demand.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll be at the heart of data-driven decision making. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Extracting, transforming, and analysing large datasets using SQL within Databricks.

  • Conducting complex analyses to understand and improve our pharmacy replenishment systemsβ€”ensuring product availability while driving stock optimization.

  • Building and maintaining robust data pipelines to support business reporting and analytics needs.

  • Connecting Databricks to Power BI to develop visually compelling and interactive dashboards.

  • Partnering with stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights through dynamic reporting.

What you'll need to have

These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a passion for transforming data into insight. The ideal candidate will have:

  • SQL skills, particularly within Databricks or similar cloud platforms like Azure Synapse or Snowflake.

  • Experience designing and optimizing data models and queries for performance and scalability.

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate Databricks data into Power BI and create impactful visual dashboards.

  • A solid grasp of data storytelling and user experience principles in dashboard design.
