As our Data Engineer, you’ll help build smart, seamless data pipelines, design rock-solid data models, and keep our systems humming with reliable, clean data. You'll be the friendly face of data, working with analysts, program teams, and stakeholders to make sure the right information flows to the right people, at the right time.

Expect a mix of SQL wizardry, data architecture brainstorming, a little detective work fixing pipeline hiccups, and plenty of opportunities to grow your skills. You’ll also get hands-on with data governance, support business intelligence, and help us unlock new ways to use data for good.

• Crafting, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and models
• Collaborating with teams to turn data into decisions
• Troubleshooting, tweaking, and always improving our data systems
• Staying curious and keeping pace with data trends and tech

This role is permanent full time based from our Southport Head Office.

A bit about you...

• 1-3 years of experience, including internships
• Proficiency in SQL and also preferably a programming language (e.g., Python or C#)
• Basic understanding of data modelling concepts, database management, and ETL/ELT processes
• High attention to detail in both technical execution and documentation
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is advantageous. Preferably Azure
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to comply with legislative requirements of our contracts
• Blue Card and National Police Check with no disclosable outcomes
