Data Engineer

Weβre supporting a forward-thinking organisation with a growing internal tech function as they modernise how they manage and report on business data. Following recent investment in their Microsoft ecosystem, theyβre expanding their data capabilities and hiring a Data Engineer to help shape a scalable, efficient, and secure data infrastructure.
Youβll join a collaborative team working across data pipelines, integrations, and visualisation tools ensuring clean, structured data flows between internal systems, CRM, ERP, and third-party platforms.
The Role:
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines across systems including ERP, CRM (NetSuite), and off-the-shelf applications
- Develop and manage a centralised reporting layer using Microsoft Fabric and OneLake
- Create models and semantic layers to support Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports
- Collaborate across functions to gather requirements and translate them into usable data products
- Champion data governance, access control, and quality assurance across the estate
About You:
- Commercial experience in data engineering or BI
- Strong SQL and familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SSRS, or similar reporting platforms
- Experience integrating data from multiple systems, including ERP and CRM
- Confident translating business requirements into technical solutions
