Responsibilities
- Â Design, develop, and maintain a suite of client facing ThoughtSpot liveaboards, alongside internal PowerBI dashboardsÂ
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure technologyÂ
- Design data models and ensure accurate data lineage.Â
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to support reporting and analytics needs.Â
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for analytics workflows and transformations.Â
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into dashboards.Â
- Ensure dashboards and data solutions are performant, scalable, and aligned with business needs.Â
- Contribute to the continual improvement of our data observability, governance and quality metricsÂ
- Support best practices in data governance, quality, and documentation.Â
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and our customers.Â
Mandatory Skills, Knowledge or Experience
- Several years of experience in data-engineering and/or analytics positions within fast-paced, large-scale production environmentsÂ
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.Â
- Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (Dimensional modelling / Star schemas).Â
- Proven experience building dashboards and reports, preferablywith either ThoughtSpot or PowerBIÂ
- Experience with data lineage and data governance best practices.Â
- Data curious and always willing to dive into complex data issues to understand and improve problem areasÂ
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes (Azure Devops, Git, version control, deployment pipelines).Â
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Â
Desirable (but not essential) skills
- Experience of Snowflake cloud data warehouse including SnowSQL
- Experience of programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python / PowerShell)
- Experience of building production systems utilising cloud technologies, with particular value in expertise with Microsoft Azure
- Experience deploying software or data products to external customers, preferably within the financial services industry
- Certification in Azure, Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, PowerBI is particularly desirable
- Experience of working in an Agile development environment (e.g. Kanban / Scrumban)
- GenAI experience inc Cursor and ChatGPTÂ
